My new single is an ode to friendship, with a wink to the famous sitcom:
Give it a listen:
This song recalls scary moments at sea, when our ship entered the eye of a storm. Also a metaphor for the rough ride we are all having in the Covid pandemic. First single taken from the album All the Little Things, which will be released in two parts in June and September 2021.
‘Ride the Storm’ is available for free listening on Bandcamp, Soundcloud and Youtube. Also available on Spotify, iTunes and all other streaming services.
The title song of my second album, shot on location in West London by Luke Nyman. The Garden derives its name from a temporary lease (in the early 1970s!) of a derelict industrial patch to a beginning community gardening project. During the years I worked at a British university and lived nearby, I often sat in the Garden, wondering how long this ‘meanwhile’ would last for me in London Town…
New album ‘Meanwhile Gardens’ available now to listen & download on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon & more. It features the singles ‘Find My Way’ and ‘Aleppo Blues’, next to 9 amazing new songs both personal and political:
Te gekke cd! Ik hoor dat jij net zo’n grote McCartney fan bent als ik :-). Fijne stem en hele mooie liedjes! – Bertolf Lentink
Inspired by Ameer Alhalbi’s award-winning World Press photo (see cover), ‘Aleppo Blues’ will feature on my coming-soon second album ‘Meanwhile Gardens’. Available to listen & download on Spotify & all digital stores (€ 0,99). Listen to it for free here:
